A trading company that tests every unit
nivon is the trading name of Jiaxing Nianbao Trading Co., Ltd. (嘉兴年宝贸易有限公司), a trading company founded in 2025 in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, China. We buy used DJI drones, camera bodies and handheld gimbals in China’s second-hand trade, test and grade each unit, and sell in wholesale quantities to businesses that resell or rent them, with a focus on buyers in Africa.

What we are, and what we are not
We are a trading company. We do not make any of the products we sell. nivon is an independent reseller, not affiliated with or endorsed by DJI, Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Zhiyun or Feiyu. Product and brand names are used only to identify genuine second-hand goods.
We are also a young company, founded in 2025, and we say so on purpose. Buyers check company registrations, and the name on our invoices is the same as the name on this page: Jiaxing Nianbao Trading Co., Ltd..
What we actually do to each unit
Used equipment from the second-hand trade varies a lot. Two drones of the same model can differ in battery health, motor wear, crash history and whether they are still tied to someone else’s account. Our job is to find that out before you pay for it. Every unit is tested in Jiaxing against a written checklist for its product line, given a cosmetic grade, and listed with its own record. The checklist and grade definitions are published on our grading page, so you can hold us to them.

What happens in Jiaxing
We work from a stock room in Jiaxing, not a factory. We do not make or assemble anything. This is the route every unit takes through it:
- Receive. Units come in from second-hand trade channels in China.
- Test. Each one is checked against the checklist for its product line.
- Grade. It gets a cosmetic grade, A, B or C.
- Record. Serial number, firmware, and battery cycles or shutter count go on its record.
- Pack. Packed with air columns and foam inside a carton.
- Hand over. Cartons go to DHL, UPS or FedEx, or to your own forwarder’s warehouse in China.

Where the stock comes from
We source from second-hand trade channels in China. We do not sell from a fixed catalog: what is available changes week to week, which is why we send a stock list instead of publishing prices.
Who we sell to
We sell to businesses: wholesalers, camera and drone shops, and rental houses. Our pricing is set by model, grade and quantity, and the details that matter to trade buyers, such as import permits for drones and age limits on used cameras, are part of how we quote. See how quotes work.

EU representative agreement
WeTapeV Euro s.r.o. (Prague, Czech Republic) is appointed as our EU representative under an agreement that runs from 10 August 2026 to 10 August 2027, for 3C electronics sold under the brand nivon. It gives EU authorities a contact inside the EU for our products. It is not a product certificate and not a test of any unit, and the representative is not the importer and is not responsible for product quality.
UN38.3 test report for one battery model
For the flight battery used in the DJI Mini 4 Pro (model BWX140-2590-7.32, 7.32 V, 2590 mAh, 18.96 Wh) we hold a copy of UN38.3 test report No. 1123040653, issued on 6 June 2023 by Shanghai Institute of Chemical Industry Testing Co., Ltd. to the battery’s maker, Xiamen Ampace Technology Limited. It is the battery maker’s report, not ours, and it covers that one battery model only. Carriers and forwarders often ask for it before they accept drones. For other models, ask and we will tell you what we can supply before you order.
Certification marks on the units
Used units carry the marks their maker printed on them, such as CE or FCC, depending on the market each unit was first sold in. Those marks belong to the maker. We do not certify products.
What we do not have
- No CE, FCC, ISO or other certificate of our own.
- No factory, so no factory audit.
- Our checks are function and condition checks, not certification tests.
