How long until my order ships?
Ships within 5-7 business days via DHL / UPS / FedEx. The 5-7 business days start when your order and payment are confirmed. Business days are Chinese working days: the Spring Festival holiday (late January or February) and the National Day holiday in the first week of October add time, and we will tell you when you order if your shipment falls across one. You get the tracking number the day the shipment is collected.
Carriers, or your own freight forwarder
We ship by express with DHL, UPS or FedEx. Which one depends on your destination and on which carrier accepts lithium batteries on that route.
You can use your own freight forwarder. Give us the forwarder’s warehouse address and contact in China; we deliver the cartons there and send you the packing list. Many buyers in Africa consolidate with other goods this way.
How units are packed
Packed with air columns and foam inside a carton. Each unit is wrapped in air-column bags, held in foam so it cannot move, and packed in a carton. Batteries are packed so their terminals cannot touch metal or each other. Units are packed with their accessories as listed on the quote.
Shipping drones and gimbals with lithium batteries
Drones and gimbals run on lithium-ion batteries, which airlines and express carriers treat as dangerous goods. Batteries that travel installed in, or packed with, the device they power are accepted on most express routes. Spare batteries shipped on their own face stricter rules, and some services refuse them, so we confirm the carrier and the number of spare batteries per carton on the quote. Each battery’s watt-hour rating is printed on its label; carriers use it to decide how the parcel is handled.
Carriers and forwarders may ask for a UN38.3 test summary for each battery model. These documents are issued for the battery maker, not by us. Tell us which models you are ordering and the carrier or forwarder you plan to use, and we will tell you before you order which documents we can supply.
Import permits, duties and age limits
Shipping documents
Every shipment travels with a commercial invoice and a packing list. The invoice shows the actual value of the goods; we do not under-declare.
Questions about shipping
Is shipping included in the price?
No. Freight depends on weight, number of cartons, destination and battery rules on the route, so it is quoted with each order.
Can I use my own freight forwarder?
Yes. Send us the forwarder’s warehouse address in China and we deliver the cartons there.
Can you ship spare drone batteries on their own?
Sometimes. Batteries shipped without the device they power face stricter carrier rules and are refused on some routes. Tell us the quantity and destination and we confirm on the quote.
Can you clear customs for me?
No. Import permits, drone registration and customs clearance in your country are your responsibility. We supply the shipping documents.
