What the grades mean

Each α6000 on the stock list carries one of three grades for how it looks.

Grade A: Excellent

Hard to tell from little-used at arm’s length.

Grade B: Good

Normal signs of use you can see, nothing on the glass.

Grade C: Fair

Clearly used and marked, every function working.

The letter describes cosmetic condition only. Every graded unit passed the same function checks, whatever its letter. Full grading standard

The cameras checklist, applied to every α6000. A unit that fails a line is set aside, not graded.

  • Firmware and serial numberFirmware version recorded; serial number recorded and matched to the body.
